No Pain, No Gain

So i was at over at PD last weekend..a good time to chill and relax before the new (and long) semester started. Boohoohoo!

Haha i was at this restaurant, and they hung up this. I think its soooo catchy!! Haha. Especially the one "for the wives". LOL. Must read!

We played basketball.. haha. I manage to score most of the goals. Not bad not bad for a newbie :P


We also played beach volleyball. Man, this game makes your hands hurt :(

And, it ain't as easy as it looks. When you're actually playing, its sooo hard. The net is like 3 times higher than you! Haha.


Then, most of us were all gung-ho for the obstacle courses. Its typical NS style man. You'll find out in a bit.

The gung-ho people! My sis was darn lazy man. She just slept beside the pool -.- Even my mum joined us for the obstacle courses. Shame on her! :P

We had to go through 20 obstacles altogether. Some were pretty simple. Others were harder. Some was darn hard.

Notice the log with the murky water at the bottom? I was afraid of this. I didn't wanna fall in it and get myself wet with ewww mud water. But but but, haha i managed to pass it without sweat :D

And this. It was pretty simple cos we had alot of people so we cheated a bit. haha. If you were doing it alone, man its tough! Trust me, its not as easy as it looks!

How we played cheat : We had people to hold the ropes. ;) Well, the instructor told us how to do it. Cos normally the main aim of these obstacles are to achieve teamwork.. people had to figure out themselves how they wanna do it. So since we were there just for the fun of it he kinda told us the trick. If not we'll be there till night time man! Haha. So not really counted lah. :P

Ah, this was tough! The wall was like 3 times my height. And we had to figure how each got to get pass it.

Haha i don't know how but we all managed to go through the wall. All i can say is, teamwork is important. Lol. There were many other more obstacles but I didn't manage to capture shots of them.

We were all so exhausted at the end of the day. So we went for a yummy dinner at this Malay- Thai-ish Restaurant. I hardly patronise Malay restaurants, but I have to say that the one we went to, the food was really really good. The bomb was the clear tomyam soup!! *droolsssss*
Its either that, or we were all to hungry to notice :P

The next day, I woke up with my joint aching and my arms strained. But everyone felt the same! So don't say I'm not fit :P It still hurts till now. :( The effects of not warming up. Sigh sigh!

The next day, I went go-karting!




The experience for me? It sucked because i got a lousy kart, my accelarator could not pick up, the seat was vibrating like crazy, and we had to wait over an hour for our turn because this group of Malay people hogged the whole race track -.- Not worth my 2o bucks!

The last time was way better.

We didn't go to the beach. Knowing the condition of our beaches in West Malaysia. We'll get black sand instead. Haha.

Argh! my body still aches, till now. :(

Well, on another note, classes resumed today. I love my new timetable! Well, for now. Hopefully the tutorials won't be an ass and screw it up! XD

So how was my first day of lecture?

So our karaoke session FINALLY managed to happen after many failed attempts. Hahaha. It was pretty funny to see everyone singing their lungs out. lol lol.

I have to say i'm pretty impressed with the Red Box @ Gardens. Very nice place.
Impressive! But the food there is kinda bad. Haha. Well, my opinion. :P But well, cannot complain. We only paid RM11 each for karaoke and the food. Cannot complain so much :P I should be thankful. Haha!

Man, did i enjoy the karaoke session. This is kinda like my first proper time i've karaoke-ed before. Those in the shower not counted one lah! :P

We should do this again when everyone is back yeah?? :D I feel like singing now! Haha.

Off to PD tmr. Hopefully we can do all the activities planned out. Sea rafting, paintball, go-karting here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D

A short holiday before semester starts on Monday. So so very not looking forward to it. Boo boo boo!!!!

The tale of two weirdos..erm actually one.

Met up a few weeks ago with Mr.Josh who's back all the way from Canada and has since left over at Souled Out, Hartamas.

All i can remember is that they have really really cute looking serviettes. Like ultra cute! I've should have snapped a pic! Lol.

Yesterday, met up with Aly and Nad for breakfast over at Devi's, Bangsar. I was there at 9.55am. And they only arrived at 10.25am. I waited so long!!! I've decided that next time, i'll ask them to call me ONLY when they've reached, then only i'll start walking. Then, i wouldn't have to wait! They'll wait for me instead! HAHA! :D

My super sweet hot Milo. I asked for Milo Kosong (without sugar) but they gave me ultra sweet Milo! :S You can see all the sugar at the bottom! Eww! :S

p/s: One roti canai means one hour in the pool and 2 hours in the gym! boo! Well, at least i went swimming this morning..not so guilty now. Heh heh.

Nad : *thinks a moment, finally after some time realises we're fooling her ( like duhh) and goes f**k you!*

HAHAHAHA! she never fails to entertain us man!!!! LOL LOL. How i love that woman!



Then we went over to elo cos aly wanted to get a pair of sunglasses. Nadia spotted this heart rimmed sunglasses, which is SO FREAKIN UGLY and they BOTH decided to buy it! Swt swt swt man! -.- '

Its like the UGLIEST sunglasses you've ever seen. Instead of buying a normal looking pair of shades they came out with super duper horrible shades that i would not wear even if its for free! And it ain't that cheap.. it was like what..29 bucks? Haha like throwing money away only -.-

I bet the sales lady in the shop was thinking to herself " Man, we finally manage to get rid of these horrible looking sunglasses by two weirdos who think its nice"
HAHA! Even both of them admitted it!!

Worst, they were like walking around in it the whole of Bangsar. Aly wasn't that bad she was kinda shy.. Nad was like so darn enthusiastic man to walk around in it. Pity me, i had to try hard to act like i didn't know them when nad was like all over trying to pull me next to her. Hard times i tell you!

Embarassing moments man.. hahaha!


Then, i decided to follow them to Ikea to meet some friends and have lunch at ikea cafe! Best known for their yummy yummy meatballs! Ahh! I love their Daim Cake as well but it was too sinful so i had to resist :(

I had a kid's meal which consists of 5 meatballs and fries! *drool drool*
(there goes another hour of gym)


Then they decided to go bowling. I had four strikes in a row man!!!!!! And got the highest score as well!! I even beat Aly the bowling champ! Hahaha. not bad not bad!! :D :D


Lol lol kidding! The bowling score was Aly's bf's one. I didn't even play in fact. Hahaha gotcha!

We headed home after cos nad suddenly had a bad headache. Must be the shades! hahahaha :P So that was basically our day! Its always fun to hang out with these two weirdos. Lol. Time spent with them is never dull :P

Gosh gosh gosh. I just found out that the lecturer for Macroeconomics this sem is my previous marketing teacher, Mr.Liew! OMG OMG OMG. WE ARE SO DEAD.

Sigh!

Anyways, on a happier note, karaoke tmr!!! Haha finally!!!!!! ;) ;)

A group of us drove all the way to Kajang for their oh-so-famous Kajang satay! Such a long journey.. like 45 mins.. with tummy grumbling on the way!
