I'm so glad I've finally had time to upload my overdue photos :D
Work is taking away all my time *sob sob*
Anyways, this is the place I mentioned in my last few posts where i posted pics of the ever-mouth watering cakes.
A Slice of Heaven over at Jaya One, Section 14 PJ.
They've a wide array of desserts, cakes and sorts.
Visited Baby Ken last weekend and I couldn't resist taking pics of the ultra-cool sugar figurines! O.O
Darn cool Chanel-inspired bag dont'cha think??!
What a cute wedding cake this would be, heh? ;)
Looks seriously dammm good to be eaten XD
And of course, their looks-too-good-to-eat cupcakes..
And who can resist Choc and Cheese?!
And Banana Cream Pie?!
And their Death by Chocolate??!!
And brownies!!! Ahh..this is pretty good, not too sweet with huge choc chunks and walnuts! :D
And their best-selling Durian Chocolate!!!!!!!!!! Ahhh!!!!!! With fresh durian bits in it...I bet you durian lovers out there definitely cannot resist!!!!!! Trust me, if you love durians, you will definitely love this!!!
Like me :P
They even have bigger sized ones like these..
Death by Chocolate x 10 times larger.
For Father's Day last weekend they had a special tree specially dedicated to all dads our there!
They've also Tiramisu and all sorts of other stuff as well, you'll be spoilt for choice ;)
Prices are slightly steep but for its justified for its quality.
Do drop by Jaya One, its next to Cold Storage .. you definitely wouldn't wanna miss it!
Father's Day last Sunday.
We brought Dad to Tenji @ Solaris Mont Kiara.
Pretty nice ambience...greeted with lush greenery and a pretty walkway with the waiters by the side ready to greet you.
Quite a big place with serene surroundings and pretty deco.
Didn't wanna waste time taking too many pics..the food were just too tempting. HAHA! :P
Ahh! Free flow of sweet Thai coconuts! :D :D :D
I think I had like 4 of those. lol.
Wide selection of Sushi.
I thought the sushi was only okay..the rice was kinda tasteless. And the tempura was kind of a disappoinment cos it wasn't crispy and fresh..and we had to wait so long for it!
Sushi Tei on my birthday was much nicer! ;)
Hmm..but the Unagi Temaki was pretty good :D
The only sushi I really enjoyed.
They also serve expensive Fresh Oysters...which I didn't touch at all.
And raw salmon which I also don't enjoy.
Haha I'm told that these two dishes alone will make your money's worth. Very true..a pity I don't enjoy them XD
Fresh Prawns!!!
Yes! This is what I really enjoy! Heh heh..I had all types of it..fresh,baked,stir-fried..you name it, I had it! :D :D :D
They also had Western and Asian cuisine..which personally I think was much tastier than their Japanese selection. XD
Especially their Steamed Garoupa, Red Snapper and Cod fish..boy, that was the bomb of the night! :D
No pictures of those cos it was too good to resist...my mouth already watering somemore wanna take picture meh??!!!
LOL
Perhaps they should change their name from Tenji Japanese Buffet to Tenji Asian/Western Cuisine. Hehe.
Oh..and they had a wide wide selection of desserts.
Choc fondue!
It'was a bit of disappointment as well, cos they only served it with marshamallow and cookies. I mean..how can you not serve choc fondue without fruits????!!!!!
><
So what i did was, I took those normal fresh fruits they serve, broke it into smaller pieces and dipped it into the choc! :D
Ah yummy! :D
Oh, and waffles which I had to give a miss as my stomach was already over its capacity :P
Ahh! And finally..
The very main thing I was looking forward to..
Free flow of HAAGAN DAZS ice-cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*jumps around and beams with joy*
Just eat 4 scoops of it and you've paid your money's worth! ;) Man, their ice cream is seriously damm good. Rich and thick..unlike those ciplak icecreams. Hehe. Cannot stop once u eat man :P
I better not tell you how many scoops i had. HAHA.
The best part is, all of us kept saying we were already dammn full..but all of us couldn't resist the temptation of haagan dazs ice cream! Hehe.
Overall, pretty okay..I would go back..but not in a long time. Hehe its definitely worth RM46 but not RM88 :P
My verdict: 7/10.
Last night, met up with the long-lost PB4 classmates over at Thai Thai, Pyramid.
As usual...only the regular ones will meet up. The rest disappeared into thin air already XD
A farewell for ChingYoong and Mark..and a welcome home for Justin!
Glad being able to catch up and gossip about what everyone's up to. Haha. Will miss both CY and Mark. Our gatherings will be much smaller without them...I'd consider them the 'regular' kakis. :(
You guys, better don't forget us! XD Oh, and don't contract the H1N1 flu! :P
Headed to AC for yamcha later on (miss that place!) as the fellars in pyramid shoo-ed us away :P
More gossiping....tsk tsk
See the intensity of the situation? :P
Haha man, I always will miss my Taylors days. Fun and crazy bunch of weirdos! :P
Another meeting coming up when the rest are back ok!!! :D
Just got news that Saturday night's dinner has been postponed. Why la? :'(
I'm dreading work tmr. It's the end of the month and everyone's poor! How to sell laaa??!!
