Happy Diwali!

Hello hello!

Hmm..i haven't had the time to come online lately hence the absence. Hehe. Well, first of Happy Deepavali to all the Indians out there! :) Actually, what does celebrating deepavali actually mean? And whats the difference between deepavali and diwali? I know its the festival of lights and all but what does it actually signify. Hmm and I realised its not as much hoo-ha compared to Hari Raya and CNY. I wonder why..

Anyways, lucky us we get an extra holiday! :) What a nice long weekend! Its back to uni again tmr. I have replacement class this friday to replace today's public holiday. How sad!! :( Looks like its not a holiday after all eh :(

Well, no idea why but I'm feeling really exhausted. I'll update the pics from my roadtrip soon as promised! hehe. Till then!

Me is back from the land of Thailand! Hehe. Well, in my previous post i mentioned i was just supposed to go to the Thai border.. but hmm i ended up going to Hyat Yai! Hahaha. Well, of course there wasn't enough time to do much! But it was fun all the way though! Its all about eating, eating and more eating! Haha and of course who can resist, shopping too! ;)

Road trip!

Its been a week since i started uni again. Well, specifically 3 days. Haha. Well, thank god the workload is not there YET. It will be soon! In the mean time, i'm gonna enjoy being free :D

Hmm classes are okay. So far, biz law seems to be pretty interesting. I hope that lasts! ;) Stats pretty okay too, SO FAR. lol. One thing i'm still so agitated about : the timetable's all messed up! Everybody requesting to change this and that. Like today, halfway thru law lecture they told us to change lecture halls. Worst still, its all the way in the main building so we had to take the bus! Right in the middle of lecture.. just when i was about to get comfortable with my seat. Urgh, so irritating man seriously. Everybody wanna stick to that subjects they initially wanted. I mean, if they clash just change that particular subject and do it the next sem right? I mean, simple solution but some people just wanna be stubborn and wanna get their own way! I mean, the management can't be going around changing the timetable just to try to please everybody right?? No way they can please everyone! Sigh, some people just just wanna remain oblivious :S i wonder whether most colleges/unis are like that or is it only HELP. Maybe they're trying to live up to their name :P

Well, nothing much interesting really besides all that drama. haha! Back to the same old routine everyday. :(

One thing interesting : I'm heading to Bukit Kayu Hitam ( Thailand border) tomorrow afternoon!!!! :D :D tee hee! This trip was super last min. My mum msged me this evening asking whether i wanna follow her and some friends there.. i was like why not man! :D do i hear shopping and food?? ;) ;)

One problem tho, i'm supposed to sign up for my tutorial classes this saturday. Hopefully i can get my friend to help me do it.. if not i won't be able to go!! :( :(

Timetable blues

Argh! I'm so darn pissed about my new timetable! -.-

Remember i mentioned that i wanted to take management and stats? Of all subject these two had to clash! Grr!! So its either i take biz law and stats or biz law and management. Sigh sigh! I wasn't really prepared to do biz law this sem.. sigh.. looks like i don't really have a choice now but to settle with biz law and stats. If i were to do biz law and management, I'm so gonna burst my brains out since these two subjects involve heavy reading and studying -.- And both of it being new subjects to me, I'm afraid i'll die. haha so i better settle with stats and biz law :)

And the timetable gives me back to back classes.. and i have one day where my class ends at 6pm! #@!!#@@ and one day where i only have ONE pathetic tutorial. Worst still, I can't shift this tutorial since it clashes with the rest! @$##!! and i can't even choose my lectures for this sem! -.- Man, I don't know what else to say anymore. Two words to sum it up = i'm annoyed!

I have ONE pathetic lecture tmr at 4 till 6pm. What a nice time to start the semester eh?

Back to school!

Finally got my semester results after ages!! Sometimes i wonder why these HELP staff are so inefficient. Taking ages to mark the exam papers and assignments! :S Sometimes I think they really do need help man, loads of it! :P

Anyways, got my results.. and it was pretty satisfactory. Thank god thank god! :D

Managed to secure an overall GPA of 3.75 for the 3 subjects i took. My marketing pulled me down -.- well, anyway i'm quite satisfied :) All praise to God! Hopefully I can do well in my coming subjects as well!

I can i can, with perseverance, consistency and determination i believe i can!! *wink*

Have decided to take Stats and Management in my next sem.. which starts next week!! Argh back to classes, no more holidays :( Must start mugging again and stop procrastinating! Haha, oh well i guess thats how life works eh? ;)

Here comes the bride!

Two weeks ago, I was given the priviledge to accompany baby to his cousin's wedding over at JW Marriott. It was a grand affair indeed! Felt so nice being able to dress and doll up (considering i didn't have a college graduation ball :( teehee! Man, was i excited! ;P

Its been some time since i last attended a wedding ceremony. Usually, its only my parents who are invited. Usually its their friend's daughter/son getting married so it'll definately be odd if i went. Considering I don't have any elder cousins since my sis is the eldest grandchild thus me being the third eldest, no one is getting married on our side of the family. And well, my friends are too young to get married so well, no invitations :P Haha, i'm still waiting for my sis to find a boyfriend and get married :P :P

Haha. Well back on to the wedding.. it was nice of course.. so sweet to see a man and a women unite to become one, man and wife. See her father walk her down the aisle over to the groom. 100% sweetness!! :D

I must blog about this. You know, it is indeed such a small world we have!! Let me tell you. Haha. My boyfriend's cousin husband is my mum's good friend's son. So yes, as u guessed my mum was of course invited to the wedding as well. Its such a small small world man!! Of course it felt weird!! she being there as the groom's guest and I as the bride's guest. LOL. When we found out we were laughing like crazy! hahaha. So, you better becareful the next time you get to know people. You'll never know they might be your mum's worst enemy! haha ;p

Yup, so it was fun! hehe and did i mention the food was super good too?? Thinking of it makes me hungry now :P We had such nice food, lobster salad, abalone mushrooms, roasted chicken and the list goes on.. i can't really remember exactly what but I won't forget that the food was really yummy!! :D Ahh! And the dessert!!! OMG!! Apple strudels with icecream!!! Its not just any ordinary strudels with icecream.. its like THE best dessert!! Ahhh really delicious!!! I would take a second helping if i wasn't stuffed already :P teehee! :P well yeah! The night was great, the company was great, the bride was beautiful. Everything just fell right into place ;)

I was browsing through my friend's blog and she mentioned moonlight resonance!!! *beams*


Omg Omg Omg!! If you haven't already watched it, you don't know what you're missing man!!! :P It's soooo good and must i say, ADDICTIVE!!! Hahaha when i first started watching it, i could watch 5 episodes straight and it'll seem so short! I could just go on and on.. it justifies how good the series is!! I'll tell myself " ok last one, last one" and by the time i know it, 5 episodes like that in a blink of an eye! Haha i managed to catch up wit the HK screening time and had to wait for the next episode to be released in HK and for that very kind lady to upload it on youtube. Man, it gets better every episode.. soooo exciting!!! Although kinda predictable towards the ending, it was superb nevertheless. Well, TVB dramas are always nice anyway :P

I wouldn't mind watching it over and over again. hahaha i watched the ending a few times anyway :P Well, so that also took up a part of my holidays. Watching tvb dramas! :D Next movie to complete is Heart Of Greed! I know its a year old but i haven't watched it yet :P Same cast, kinda same storyline.. but i'm sure it'll still be worth watching. Haha! Must make use of my last week of hols .. which will after be back to hitting the books again :S

Of farewells and thanksgiving

Its the Raya holidays again! How nice! Roads in KL are a breeze without jams and parking woes. Lol. I'm guessing the shopping malls would be empty too eh ;) Hehe.

My keypad is working as of now, will never know when it'll go jonkers again :S that why i took this chance to blog! hehe. It decided to be nice to me today after being bitchy for so long! :P Hope this will last :D

Hmm so what did i do for raya?

1st day - Woke up late as usual, bummed around..joined my parents with their "gang" who actually drove down all the way to Ijok(near Kuala Selangor) to have dinner and back. Haha just to eat! LOL what a waste of time and petrol :P Hmm but the food was pretty good. Special kinda food.. like apparently everything is wrapped with foil and clay and cooked. pretty cool :P We had crabs,prawns,fish,chicken,duck,pork..basically all types of seafood. Yummy yum yum! :)

2nd day - Woke up late again..headed to my mum's ex-collegeaus open house. Ate and the adults talked .. boring boring! i fell asleep! Haha :P Later in the evening had a kid's bday party at Sierramas. Boring too! Haha.

Well, so thats how i spent my raya holidays! how boring! hahaha. Doesn't really feel much of a diff to me since I am on holidays now anyway :P Sigh! Time flies! i've only have 2 weeks left to enjoy before its back to work!!! Better enjoy it whilst i still can!! :D

Oh yup.. was supposed to update on the previous weeks. Hmm.. right.. had a gathering for Mr.Justin Liew who was leaving to Cambridge to further his studies.. he has since left on monday night. That guy is one heck of a smarty pants!!! I mean.. cambridge man..don't play play.. on full scholarship somemore.. all the better!!! He's like our big daddy of the class.. looks after all of us with care. Hehe. He's the man!! :P And Yes, of course we'll definately miss him. :( I think our classmates won't really meet up now since he's gone cos he's usually the only person who plans stuff which actually work out. Haha! When other ppl plan gatherings etc, it doesn't really go according to plan. God knows why la! lol. Well, we've assigned another person to do it now..hopefully it will work out ;) hahaha

So, we met up at Pyramid and took ages just to decide what to eat. People nowadays are so fussy!!! Hahaha. They ask me to suggest where to eat, so i did. Like many places.. and it didn't fit their taste -.- after much MUCH contemplation, we decided on Kim gary.. the exact same place we ate the last time. Haha, what a waste of time deciding :P So we talked, catched up on our lives and u know the usual stuff. It was interesting of course to be able to meet and catch up with each other, share the usual lame jokes, and reminiscence of college days. Ah, how i miss those times. :) Hopefully, we'll meet up again sometime! :)
