It was dimsum over at Hong Kee's for breakfast on Thursday morning! :D
The all-time favourite dimsum dish - Siew Mai!
Prawn dumpling.
It wasn't very fresh this time :(
Deep fried prawn fritters! Also another fav! :D
Hong Kee's serve many other varieties.. but too bad there were only 2 of us, so we couldn't order a lot! boohoo! Must go dimsum with alot of people to eat everything! Nyeh heh heh :P
Well, past few days have been pretty lepak-ing. Headed to Pavilion on Friday for some window shopping, the weekend pretty much just going in and out of the house, and basically bumming my ass out! haha.
Am outta job at the moment! If any of you know anybody who's hiring part-timers lemme know okay!! I'll love you for it! :D
I need a job!!!!!!!!!!! *wails*
Desperate means would be me having to work in boutiques nearby which pay's miserably!
T___________________________T
I can feel the effects of recession now that company's don't wanna hold any events to cut costs, which means part timers like me don't have jobs. Sigh! :(
I shall stop wallowing in self pity. HAHAHAHA!
Anyways, continuation of my Singapore trip which is very long overdue I know :P
Well, like I mentioned, we extended a night to 'visit' more places. (visit=more shopping?-you tell me!) XD
Dropped by Bugis Street for some shopping of course! Something like the flee market concept we have in Curve. Got a couple of stuff there! :D I think we also headed to Orchard again for a while. lol.
No pictures due to the excitement :P
Singapore's financial district. I forgot the name of the area, its been 2 weeks afterall! Haha.
We took some time trying to figure out whether this was a cow or a horse.
-.-''
It clearly looks like a horse to me.
We spent the whole day just walking, walking and walking.
We headed to where the famous landmark of Singapore, The Merlion was.
( I forgot the name of the area as well ><) The future casinos in the making! Massiva construction going on there! I think its the one by the Golden Sands. The one by Genting World was at Sentosa, which was way way bigger!
The Merlion was too far to walk, and we were dead tired so we decided to just admire it from far. Haha.
You know, The Merlion view during sunset is beautiful! We arrived there too early. Boo hoo!
:)
Spotted the Singapore flyer as well. It was too expensive to sit on so again we admired it from afar. Lol.
Trying to do some Bollywood-behind-the-tree pose! Clearly, failed. Haha.
And it'was Vivo City at night! :D
The rooftop has awesomeeeeee scenery!
There was a bridge like place for people to sit down, relax and enjoy the view.
The view from where we were sitting.
;) As if my hair got dandruff!
=.=
:D
We just sat there, cracked jokes and had all the rest we needed from all the walking!
And resorted to taking random, retarded photos which got everyone staring on the way back. HAHA!
We took a cab back to where we stayed, rested a while and decided to have some late night makan at Orchard cos I was craving for dessert! XD
This was the ONLY hawker place open at night. Damn sad right. And there weren't any dessert stalls, which was my main purpose why i came here in the first place! -.-
I could find food at any time of the day in KL! One thing Singapore lacks is this! Haha. I had to settle for a coconut drink as my dessert.
Apart from Singapore not having late night food, everything else was good. Reliable transportation, great varieties in everything including shopping and ultimately clean roads and toilets!!!! :D
Wheeeee!
And there! The journey of my Singapore trip completed! All i can say is, I had suchh a great time! :D
Singapore is having their Great Singapore Sale starting 29th May till July. Haha! And discounts on everything e.g. half prices on famous attractions just for Malaysians! How cool can it get??
Maybe their enticing me to go back...and maybe i shall fall for that! Hahaha. ;)
As for now, dinner time! :D
Tata!
