Ooooh lala! I'm so stuffed right now I feel like i'm going to burst like a balloon! XD
Had a very filling dinner...plus secret recipe's tiramisu cake for dessert, topped with 100plus to bring everything down! You can imagine how stuffed i'm feeling now XD
Holidays seriously is a time to let you eat, be merry and grow fat! XD
I have learned something interesting about food.
Food = Nice on the lips, forever on the hips!
So dammn true. Dammit! I seriously need to do something productive during this holidays if not i'm just gonna eat, shit, sleep and grow fat. Bah!
Grrr! Being stuffed means I won't be able to sleep in the mean time. Sleeping with a full stomach is just plain uncomfortable!
T___________T
Thus, I shall continue blogging about my awesomeeee trip down south! :D
Saturday morning..took the earliest First Coach bus in the morning..so that we have more time to shop of course! :) The bus is so comfortable that you won't feel like the journey is a bore! There's personal tv for each person and pretty huge seats which can incline like a bed! Haha. I kinda slept most of the time...oh and managed to catch 3 movies altogether as well! not bad! :)
Reached at about 2ish at Novena. Checked into our accomodation and we decided to visit FGA Singapore! Haha. It's a church btw if you didn't already know :P I go to FGA KL ..this is FGA Singapore!
Was very impressed with the place! I stepped in feeling so homey..they really did the place up really nicely...like you're coming back to your own house. Cosy and lovely, just how i like it :) Everybody knows everybody which is great!
Notice that the wall is filled with hundreds, or even thousands of photos. Very cool!
Me lovelies!
We made new friends as well! :D
Really enjoyed it. Oh, and the food............mannn was dammmmmm good!!!!! I shall go back! :D
Our next stop...Clarke Quay! Singapore's happening night spot apparently. It's like Bukit Bintang of KL.
View was awesome! Perfect for lovebirds taking a stroll down the river side. Romantic-nyaaaaa!!!!! Exactly what I did. HAHA!
*big grin*
We looked for a decent place hoping to listen to some relaxing jazz music and yamcha..but everywhere was either fully booked, or somebody was hosting a party -.-
Walked walked walked and we spotted this MEGA COOL BUNGEE JUMPING RIDE!!!!!!!!!
SERIOUSLY WAS DAMMMM COOL. LOOKS DAMMMM EXHILIRATING! XD
Yes, they bring you really really high, let you stay up there for a few seconds and suddenly....wham!!!!! they drop you down super fast, very sudden, without you even expecting it. I feel the adrenaline pumping for those guys up there even when i was only watching!
Watch already scary..imagine if you're up there. Walau..super thrillling. Haha!
This is a lousy shot, but those red ball like thingy is where you sit in and it goes up down up down! :S
I really wanted to try it, but it was like really expensive! T_________T
Like $40 plus for like 1o mins!!!!! -.- And i think the queue was long so what the heck!
I rather save that money for shoppping haha! Maybe the next time i shall try it!!!! :D Well, if its still there that is XD
Ah! And of course who hasn't heard of Hooters??? Where hot chicks in hot pants with big boobs serving your food on skates...who wouldn't drool?? :P
Haha too bad we didn't have enough time to have a meal there. Bet the guys were disappointed! XD
But according to my friend who worked in singapore, this hooters is nothing compared to the one in the US. The chicks here are like total opposites of the ones in US. Small boobs, ok looking. So if you want REAL hooters, you'll have to make your way to US. Haha. But not now, swine flu is calling you if you go there now.
Of course pictures to remember! :D
Wheeee!!!!
Headed to Orchard Road for our dose of shopping the next day! My personal favourite was Wisma Atria and Far East Plaza, oh and of course, how can i forget Bugis Street. Shall leave Bugis for another post. We were there practically the WHOLE DAY! And it wasn't even enough to cover everything! Too many things, too little time!
T____________T
No pictures of Orchard due to us being very busy. Haha. I'm sure you've heard of Orchard right?? Or even seen it or even been there? Definitely right! :) Hmm..but we did snap a few shots while waiting for our friend to finish paying for her purchase XD
My first day of shopping wasn't very productive :( Didn't manage to get that much stuff compared to some other people. Haha. Thank god we extended a night! :D I've learnt one lesson:
You'll have to stay at least a week in Singapore if you wanna cover the major shopping malls. Haha! There goes your bank account as well though! boo!
If only I had all the money in the world! XD
Walked, walked, walked, shop shop shop till my legs wanna die!!!!!! T__________________T
Singapore's MRT is perpetually packed like crazy. Those Singaporeans no need to work one ah i wonder -.-
After shopping, it was the Night Safari! Which i was really looking forward!
There were half-naked men dancing and blowing fire, screaming tribal languages which I obviously do not understand.
We had to wait for the tram ride.
We saw flamingos...
And leopards, actually only ONE lonely leopard -.-
Oh and flying squirrels! I think that was the highlight! We saw one squirrel flying! Dammm cool! Although slightly freaky. Haha. We were lucky to get to see them flying though becos they hardly fly judging by how long we waited for the next one to fly, which did not XD
And a lot of different types of deers. Which all looked the same to me -.-
And many other animals we 'thought' we saw and 'wanted' to see but they just didn't appear :(
Sorry for the lack of animal pictures, all the pictures of animals i tried to take just came out black or blurry.
Only the lion's eyes could be seen O.o
So u see what i mean. -.- So obviously i gave up after many fail attempts. It shall just remain in my memory.
Too bad i don't have a DSLR :(
Had this lady showing us a lion's skull and explaining about it. Pretty interesting..
Posed with the zebras.
And crocodiles..
And they had a nice place just to take photos at the end.
Oh, and a place to take photos with black tribal statues. Haha.
Look closely enough, and you can see what Ken's trying to do.
HAHA!
Honestly speaking, i was kinda disappointed with the night safari. There were extreme comments regarding how good it was..some saying its sooo great and some saying its not worth the money.
Well, to me it was a disappoinment. There were hardly any animals, perhaps they were all too busy sleeping, i could only see deers, deers and more deers -.- ... only ONE pathetic Lion, and animals which i can see if i just go to any forest in Malaysia. What happened to all those exotic animals????? Boo! I should have spent that $32 on shopping! Haha.
Consider myself unlucky. Maybe the animals that night didn't have the mood. LOL. Well, it was a nice experience anyhow. At least I have some nice photos :)
Singapore's such a nice place for a city girl like me! heh heh.
Ah! Man, I'm tired now. And i'm only halfway. Haha. Hope i didn't bore ya'll with details! XD
Just wanting to share my excitement if you shall call it. HAHA!
Shall continue another day!
My bed's calling my name and the sound of cats fighting outside is freaking me out!!! :S
