Yesterday night, my church's college group had our college ball @ Ritz Carlton, KL.
It was breathtakingly awesome!! Like the best event of the year! It was a thousand times better than my high school prom, which totally sucked, and we paid a bomb for it. This time around, It was different. We don't do the stuff normally people do at prom, but instead we did something different. I'll enlighten you with the help of the pictures kay? :)
Our theme of the night was...
Nope, not flowers ( eh but ain't the flowers nice? :) .. but... HANSEL AND GRETEL! how cool can it get? haha
Well, the theme actually signifies how we should care for our friends, just like brothers and sisters and not to take advantage of anyone. Its not like the usual kind of prom where people go to look for dates and to hook up but it was more of like a appreciating the opposite sex.. that kinda thing. The ball was the wrap up of what we've been learning these past few months on sexual intimacy. And it was a fantastic closure! Some people do think that christians don't have fun, go to church all the time, pray all the time. You know, we do have fun a lot too.. and i can even say, maybe more than some of you might have. :P
So yeah.. on the way to ritz.. we had to pass by starhill gallery. and we managed to take a shot of Dior. Damn, everything in starhill is like DESIGNERS! Dang!
On the way to the ballroom. Ritz Carlton is so damn nice. Like super grand! Beats hotels like westin and marriott anytime!

Oh yeah, and one of our agenda for the night was a performance by Liang and Reuben! Liang is a very own malaysian celebrity. You might have seen him on Hitz.tv and stuff. He's good! 
Reuben and his sister. They make an awesome duet! they sang, one sweet day by mariah carey. Sounds darn original! 
We even had a performace by professional dancers. How cool is that? they did tango, salsa, ballroom etc. The girl is only 16!!
Didnt' manage to snap any pictures of the food. But trust me, it was superb!! Esp. the desserts. Mouth watering.

Thats it for now! Oh my gosh. I took hours putting up this post!!! Crap! I won't tell you how long i took cos you would so laugh at me. And i was planning to study. Sigh! I made so many mistakes. Actually, resizing the pictures takes longer than blogging it. Darn! I wish blogspot would make it much easier to post up pictures, like friendster. Time for an updated version of blogger dontcha think? :)
