Went to watch Transformers today after college! Damn.. that movie was sooo good!! the graphics were just fantastic! i wonder how they managed to do it man! like seriously. the part where they turn into robots and back into vehicles were soo dam cool! i wish i had a car like that! hahaha. if only one day i could make graphics that superb eh? ;) after the movie, we were walking, and we saw the transformers cartoon playin in one of the video shops.. and as u might guess, the cartoon sucks compared to the movie! the robots in the cartoon were soo .. boxy! hahaha looks damn fake! LOL. those were the days... hahaha. Yeah, so for those who haven't seen it, you should. I give it 5 stars!! :)
So we walked around for a bit, took some random pictures, had dinner in fish&co, gossip a bit ( right sam? hahaha).. okay la.. not a bit.. a lot :P Then, we were off to the place we were heading to. They were supposed to drop me off in Glad Tidings for this special event. Okay..now comes the juiciest bits!! ( sam, i'm STILL laughing thinking of that chinese man. LOL )
So we left the carpark at bout 750pm. Okay..and justin lead the way to the glad tidings near catholic high school. We were all happy happy people then. We reached there, and found not a single soul there! Thank god they didn't just drop me and left! i would have died. Cos, my phone died out on me when i most needed it. stupid phone! grrr. If they left me, i'll be stranded. Apparently, there's another glad tidings in god knows where. I only know that its near digital mall and jaya supermarket. Fine. So we asked the guard for directions.. it seemed so simple when he told us..it was just straight left and right. STUPID!!!! we followed, and we ended up in the middle of nowhere.
Fine. okay.. so we went on and on aimlessly, me and justin simply guessing here and there ( actually justin and i agak agak only la) .. and we realised we were lost, REALLY lost. we ended up going around in circles, BIG BIG circles! the conversation was kinda like this..
Sam : Eh, wasn't this the die hard 4 sign board we saw before with bruce willis acting?
Kenneth : yeah la, clar was saying about it being shown in the cinemas now.
Me : oh yeah.. eh looks damn familiar la this area.
Justin ( being the smartest among the lot ) : we're lost.
okay. so it was kinda like that. maybe worst. haha. and kenneth was in the car, complaining how much time he's wasted, saying he would have been at home right now havin a nice shower, going online if it weren't becos we were lost. Then, he said he was hungry.. then he said he was sleepy. that fellar and his rants la, as usual. :P
So we thought it was a smart thing to do to ask random people for directions. So we stopped at a petrol station, asked a few ppl here and there.. this malay guy told us it was there.. another guy at the petrol station told us it was the other side, a few indon ladies told us its in jalan gasing ( where the first one we went were ) , this indian fellar.. i don't think he really understood what we were asking .. he was just sayin " saya tunggu kawan jemput ". I mean, wth who the heck wants to know who you're waiting for?? jus answer the friggin ques!! hahaha. I think that indian fellar prob thought we were pimps trying to rob him or something! LOL. I actually told one of the ppl we asked to draw me a map, cos i suck at directions. you should have seen how sam and justin were cursing me cos i made them go the wrong way so many times :P
Now comes the best part, okay so we were at the same place like for the 3rd time! So we stopped to ask this half bald, chinese guy ( i'm laughing like crazy thinking back ) . it kinda went like this..
Sam : uncle, lei chi pinto jaya supermarket mou ? ( do you know where's jaya supermarket? )
He seemed a bit blur, so justin asked..
Justin : digital mall ko tou ( digital mall there )
Chinese man : oh, jaya? digital mall? hmm ngo mm chee tou. eh jaya supermarket mm hai chap lap jor meh? pun tou ss2 ko tou. ( eh i thought it went bust, i think shifted to ss2 )
OMG. When he said that, all of us were laughing like crazy!!!!!!!!!! that was the WEIRDEST thing we heard. I think we were laughing becos of that the whole journey!! LOL. I mean, most ppl we asked just gave us diff directions, not saying the place has gone bust, worst still shifted to ss2! OMG!!!! and that guy's expression added to the situation!! hahahaha. you know, it was soo funny till we forgot to say thank you and just drove laughing all the way!!! DAMN!! It's still damn funny!! joke of the year weihh!!! hahahahahaha ( it might not seem funny now, but trust me, we were laughing our hearts out that time! )
I think i was jinxed that night. My phone died out on me, my friend had her phone on silent so she didn't pick up.. i think she had like 20 miss calls! grrr. and we got lost like 5 times! finally, after a long long time, we found the place! hahahaha. like thank god!! i almost wanted to give up and jus follow them to murni's! hahaha. before we started we were happy people, when we reached we were supposed to be still happy, but instead we were sad and tired and felt relieved that we finally managed to find the place! it ended up being in this secluded area, NOWHERE near jaya supermarket or digital mall!! -.-
( p/s : eh, we still didn't see dutch lady and colgate palmolive.. hahahaha)
oh well, it was a fun journey afterall! seemed more like a road trip around pj to me! a 20 minute trip turned up to be a 90 minute trip! hahaha. anyway sam, thanks for the transport. sorry for making you guys go round and round and round! hahaha. :)
So, the moral of the story is :
1. NEVER EVER go to a place you're unsure of.
2. NEVER EVER ask people for directions no matter how lost you are, cos you might end up in a much farther and worst place from where you're supposed to go.
3. NEVER EVER ask directions from a half bald, chinese man. HAHAHAHAHA
That ends my blog entry! damn, its long! hahahaha. I'm still laughing to myself thinking about the chinese man's answer. Damn!! how funny! now i know whats gonna cheer me up when i'm down! haha.
